Vaibhav Suryavanshi headlines youthful side as Ayush Mhatre continues as captain. The BCCI has officially announced the India U19 squad for the upcoming tour of Australia, featuring three Youth ODIs and two Youth Test matches. Mumbai batter Ayush Mhatre has been retained as captain across formats, while 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi remains the top attraction. Suryavanshi, known for his aggressive strokeplay, will aim to impress on Australian soil after mixed results in England.
Much of the team that played against England this summer returns for the Australia tour. Vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra, wicketkeeper-batter Abhigyan Kundu, and all-rounder RS Ambrish are also part of the core squad. The selectors have shown faith in continuity, with promising talents like Vedant Trivedi, Rahul Kumar, and Kishan Kumar completing the lineup.
