That is all from this game. Central Stags are off the mark while Hobart Hurricanes have lost twice in a row now. The action keeps on coming. On the 16th of this month Dubai Capitals will take on Rangpur Riders at 2 pm GMT. Do join us for the build up. Till then, cheers!
Curtis Heaphy wins the Player of the Match award. He says it's good to get a win and score some runs to help the team win. Tells it was important to win the toss and it was a good decision to bat first. Shares Tom Bruce made his job easier by scoring while he was strugling initially. Reckons they want some results to go their way.
Central Stags had 15-20 runs extra to play with however, they were strict with their bowling plan and played to the surface, bowling five overs of spin in the Powerplay. They continued the same process and kept things tight throughout once the ball got soft, they were under pressure by some heavy belting from Mohammad Nabi and Fabian Allen. Blair Tickner though bowled a really good final over to get his team underway in the tournament. Earlier, Hobart Hurricanes had Central Stags under control but they let the game drift away thanks to the partnership between Tom Bruce and Curtis Heaphy and after that, Hobart Hurricanes never made back into the game.
A victory for Central Stags and they keep their hopes alive in this tournament. For Hobart Hurricanes they have lost two games in a row while chasing. Today, they left a little too late to be honest. They followed a similar script to what Central Stags played. Took the game deep before unleashing and Hobart Hurricanes replicated it almost copy and paste after losing wickets regularly at the top. Mohammad Nabi continued his good form and, along with Fabian Allen, gave themselves a chance to chase it down. However, Mohammad Nabi unluckily got out in the first ball of the final over and that dusted the game for Hobart Hurricanes.

Game over with just legal balls remaining. Too full and around off. Allen looks to heave but mistimes it onto his pads.
OUT! RUN OUT! More importantly, a dot ball! Length ball, outside off, Mir swings and misses. Fabian Allen wanted the strike and took off but Mir was late to respond. The keeper rolled the ball to Blair Tickner who flicked the bails off in time.

DOT! This is very full and outside off, Usama Mir flashes his blade and misses.
OUT! GONE!! 19 needed off 5! A good length ball on off and nips in. Mohammad Nabi nudges it onto the pads and it lobs back to the bowler. Blair Tickner has just pushed for the umpires to check it once. Oh, how unfortunate. Mohammad Nabi has to go. It indeed hit the boots before lobbing back in Blair Tickner's hand. So, so unfortunate. Only, Blair Tickner seemed to be interested in this one and he might have just won the game.
