That is all from this game. Guyana Amazon Warriors now go on top of the table with two wins courtesy of a good NRR. The action in the Global Super League will continue tomorrow, as the Central Districts will take on the Hobart Hurricanes at 11 pm GMT on 15th July. Do join us earlier for the buildup. Till then, cheers!
Gulbadin Naib, Dubai Capitals captain, begins by saying that his bowlers bowled well, as he felt that 150-160 was par on this wicket. He adds that his batters had an off day but says that credit has to go to the Warriros for the way they bowled. On the condition on offer, he says that his team already had a chat about conditions in the nighttime, about how difficult they are, and about how the ball sticks in the surface. On the message to the team going forward, he says that the message is clear, every day is a new day, and the boys know they have the potential. He adds that there were some mistakes in this game, and his team would like to correct them in the next game. On Kaleem Sana's performance with the ball, he says, credit to Kaleem Sana for the way he bowled, and praises the entire bowling lineup, saying that he has plenty of options with the ball.
Imran Tahir, Captain of Guyana Amazon Warriors and Man of the match for today, starts by saying that every game is a big challenge whether they bat first or second, so they weren't concerned with batting first on this wicket. He says that sport is all about taking chances, and he feels that they took their chances today. On his bowling effort, he says that the ball wasn’t gripping properly, but he is just grateful that he could put in a performance for the team. On the batting effort, he feels that they need more batters to put up their hand and contribute going ahead in the tournament. When asked about the pitch, he mentions that it was a challenging wicket, and on such a wicket every run is important, and hence staying at the crease is crucial, and that is the message that was sent across to the batters. On his celebration he says that it was for his son, as his son saw somebody doing that, and he wanted him to do it. He finishes off by saying that the coaching staff and the entire management play a crucial role, and kudos to them for the work they put in.
Moeen Ali is down there to have a chat. He starts by saying that it was an amazing performance from their bowlers, defending an under-par total. He adds that this is a very confidence-boosting win for his side. On the batting effort, he says that they lost a few wickets in the power play, and after that he tried to play the situation, and it worked out well for him. On his bowling effort, he says that he enjoyed bowling there today, and he looked to bowl in good areas as he knew there was a lot of spin on offer. On the crowd support, he says they love the team, and they always come out in numbers and make for a great atmosphere. On Tahir's performance, he says that Tahir really works hard and people don’t see that side of him and tells us that we have to give him credit for playing and delivering at this age.
Earlier in the day, Guyana Amazon Warriors posted 138 on the board on the back of useful contributions from Moeen Ali and Sherfane Rutherford. Like the Dubai Capitals, they too were rocked back early as they were languishing at 27/3 in the 5th over. However, a measured knock from Moen and a quick 33 from Sherfane helped them get to a respectable total. For the Capitals, Kaleem Sana was the pick of the bowlers as he finished with a four-fer to his name. At the end of the first innings, it did look like Guyana Amazon Warriors were 10-15 runs short, but a top bowling effort from them has ensured that they won the game a big margin.
So, Guyana Amazon Warriors jump to the top spot on the points table after this big win. Their captain, Imran Tahir, has led from the front as he registered a four-fer to his name and played a big role in bundling out Dubai Capitals inside 100 runs. Romario Shepherd and Gudakesh Motie also bowled well as they finished with two wickets each. After losing an early wicket, Sediqullah Atal and Niroshan Dickwella looked to take advantage of the power play as they put on a quick 27-run stand. However, once Sediqullah Atal disappeared, the chase went absolutely haywire as the Dubai Capitals lost 6 wickets in 32 balls. Niroshan Dickwella was their last hope, and once he lost his wicket in the 13th over, it was a just a formality for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, as they wrapped up the last two wickets and won the game.

OUT! STUMPED! THAT WILL BE IT! TAHIR FINISHES OFF WITH A FOUR-FER! Guyana Amazon Warriors win by 57 runs! Dubai Capitals register their lowest ever total! Short and quick, turning away, Qais skips down the track to hit it over long on and misses. Rahmanullah Gurbaz does the rest as he whips off the bails.

Oh! What was that? That one probably slipped out of Motie’s hand. He bowls it short and wide outside off, almost outside the turf. And here’s something more. It bounces twice before reaching the batter. So it’s going to be a NO BALL! FREE HIT COMING UP!
