That is all from this enthralling match. Rangpur Riders go on top of the table with two wins in a row. Time for the sixth match. Guyana Amazon Warriors will face Dubai Capitals on the 14th of this month at 11 pm GMT (the previous day). Do join us earlier for the build up. Till then, cheers!
Khaled Ahmed wins the PLAYER OF THE MATCH AWARD. That's back-to-back awards for Ahmed. He says they wanted to win this match and now he is looking forward to the next match. Tells his wife supports him very much, and she told him he will win the player of the match award once again. Mentions he was trying to build pressure with dot balls and it worked.
Rangpur Riders bowled really well in the final 10 overs. Khaled Ahmed was exceptional with his probing line and length. Particularly with his short balls which troubled the Hobart Hurricanes a lot. Eventually, it came down to the final over and Azmatullah Omarzai, despite going for a six, held his nerves and got his team over the line.
Hobart Hurricanes were chasing an under-par total and Ben McDermott showed aggressive intent right from the word go and scored 34 off 19 balls. His wicket opened up gates for Rangpur Riders as they brought in spinners in the middle overs and the likes of Tabraiz Shamsi, Iftikhar Ahmed and Rakibul Hasan pulled things back to get Riders back in the game. Hobart Hurricanes kept losing wickets but with Nabi sticking his leg at one side and the likes of Allen and Smith available to play a quick cameo, Hobart Hurricanes had the ball in their court. However, things didn't pan out as they wanted to.
What a great game of cricket! Rangpur Riders fought till the last ball and somehow have ended up on the winning side. Yes, somehow because they were chasing the game right till the last over. However, a wicket changed the complexion of the game. This is what a wicket can do! Mohammad Nabi hung in there right till the end. Despite wickets falling at the other end, he remained faithful to chasing it down and scored a six in the first ball of the final over but Rangpur Riders gave a shot by picking up a wicket and with tail in the middle, won by just a run.

OUT! RUN OUT! Rangpur Riders hold their nerves! Scenes on the ground. Rangpur Riders are all over the park. A length ball, outside off. Mir slaps it down to long off and undoubtedly calls for two runs but Billy Stanlake is late to take off for the second run. Iftikhar Ahmed shows a lot of composure in his throw to the bowler, Azmatullah Omarzai who clips the bails off. Billy Stanlake is nowhere close to the crease. Rangpur Riders win by ONE RUN.

Short of a length and outside off. Billy Stanlake slaps it to cover who dives forward and picks off the ground. A single. THREE RUNS NEEDED.
Billy Stanlake is the last man in.
OUT! TAKEN! NABI GOES! There is another twist and a big one. On a nagging length and outside off. Nabi has no option but to swing hard on it, hits it to long off where Iftikhar Ahmed slides in and holds onto it.
